Rescue Assist to East Whiteland
September 03
Shortly after 8am, Stations 5 and 68 were alerted to State Rd (Route 29) in the area of Aldham for an accident with entrapment. Engine 5 arrived to find a two vehicle incident that included a dump truck on its side. Engine 68-1 arrived shortly after and crews began to disentangle the dump truck occupant. 75th Anniversary Celebration

Valley Forge Graduates Two New Firefighters
July 24
On July 23, 2024, Montgomery County Fire Academy held graduation ceremonies for classes 2402 & 2403. As part of class 2402, Valley Forge Firefighters Jose Beltran and Joe Lacava completed over 180 hours of training. This training is a critical first step in their firefighting journey. Engine Due On Phoenixville House Fire
December 26
Around 530 AM, Crews were alerted to the 500 block of Bridge Street in Phoenixville Borough for a reported house fire. Deputy 65 arrived to find fire showing from the third floor of half a twin. Engine 68-1 arrived as the third due engine and assisted on forcible entry and advancing a line into the exposure building. Crews worked for about an hour before being released by command. Single Vehicle Accident on Rt 23

On the evening of September 6th, Valley Forge Fire and West End Ambulance were alerted for a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Valley Forge Rd & Pawlings Rd. Engine 68-3 arrived first to find a single vehicle on a hill with reports that the brakes had failed. Fire Crews secured the vehicle while EMS crews evaluated the operator. Engine Assist To Kimberton
August 24
At approximately 10:30 This morning, Station 68 was alerted for an engine to assist Station 61 at a barn fire in West Vincent Township. Engine 68-1 responded with a crew of 6 volunteers. While units were responding, Chief 61 arrived on scene to find a large burn pile to the side of a barn and a small fire in the peak of the roof of the barn. Multiple Vehicle Accident Shuts Down Route 23

Shortly after 2am, Valley Forge Fire and West End Ambulance were alerted for an accident with possible entrapment in the area of Valley Forge Road and McAvoy Lane. Chief 68 arrived to find multiple vehicles including a motorcycle involved in the incident with negative entrapment. 68 crews arrived and controlled the hazards while MICU 67 tended to the injured.
